Robert started dancing at the age of 16, he was taking technique
classes at Ambition. After one year of technique Robert auditioned
for our competitive team. He danced with the competitive team for
five years, and auditioned for the Royal Caribbean Cruise line. They
hired him immediately where he performed for seven months. He is
currently back at Ambition taking technique classes and filling in
as a substitute instructor.

We have had an excellent experience at Ambition Dance. When my daughter wanted to concentrate more on dance, we attended open houses at several studios and chose Ambition Dance. The teachers at Ambition are highly trained. I was impressed by the fact that the teachers are always taking courses at other studios in Chicago and also perform in other companies.
Although our experience throughout the year had been good, I still did not know what to expect at the recital. As a university professor of speech and theater and one who frequents the Chicago Theater (especially musicals full of dance numbers), my expectations were not that high. I was thrilled the night of the recital to walk in to a beautiful theater. The evening took my breath away. Many of the dance numbers were of professional quality. The dancers knew their steps and gave attention to every detail of the performance including the tilt of their heads, the position of their hands, and their facial expressions. Their stage presence and poise were excellent. They entered the stage completely in the mood of the piece and took their places. If a musical cue was late, they did not show that anything was wrong. They danced beautifully and kept the mood of the dance until they were offstage. This added to the audience's enjoyment of each number.

i went there for only about 2 years, but still is my favorite.
when it opened i was one of the first people there.
i loved everything about it and a few of my friends started taking classes,
i moved to batavia which my parents agreed was to far to drive me,
but i still go there at times, while my best friend is in company.
it has grown alot since i have been there,
but i really wish i was still going.
now, i dance at DancEncounter,
which is also amazing,
in North Aurora and Geneva. -

11/27/2005Our little girl is and Ambition Star!: Our daughter is in dance for the first time. We had checked out other dance studios in the area and a bit beyond our area looking for a school we thought would be right for her.
We started hearing good things about Ambition Dance on La Fox from her friends at school and their Moms so we took her in to look around and they even let her take a free class to see if she liked it. She loved it immediately.
She adores the teachers and the owner there. The teachers are so talented and she loves learning the dances.
Everyone in the studio is so nice, polite and caring. You can tell they all really care about the students! To me that's most important.
Ambition Dance & Perf. Arts is truly the best!: Ambition Dance is a dance studio where a parent can take their child to learn to dance whether it is for fun and to make new friends or for a serious student.
I Know this because I have been taking my daughter there since they first opened and I have sat in their lobby watching all the classes on the monitor they have in their front lobby. My daughter started out as taking one class for fun and has now realized she truly LOVES dance. Her new found love has come from the instructors teaching and encouragement. She now takes several classes and loves all of her instructors. At Ambition the teachers, receptionist and owner are extremely friendly they all go out of their way to teach all the kids and help the parents with any questions.
I can't say enough about this dance studio other than if you are looking for a hobby and an education I would sincerely suggest Ambition Dance they truly care about their students!!
